**TRANSPORT**

We maintain working relationships with several commercial haulers who can deliver your new horse!  A list of haulers will be posted as sale day approaches!  Layover board at Tryon is available as needed for horses who are awaiting pick up.

 

**PAYMENT METHODS**

We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards (Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express). Please note there is a 3.5% surcharge on all cards. We strongly recommend you contact your card’s issuing bank BEFORE the sale to let them know you may potentially be making a large purchase. This will save you the headache of calling after hours should your card decline at the sale due to being out of the area!  Personal & Business checks are ONLY accepted with a current bank letter of credit.  Online Bidders wishing to use Wire Transfer may do so with prior authorization. For bidders wishing to have pre-purchase examinations done at their expense, you may contact the facility veterinarian, Tryon Equine Hospital, at (828) 894-6065. Please contact Bridget at 336-904-8903 with the horse(s) you would like examinations on so we can make sure the horse is on site when the vet is available. (Most horses will be on site by Friday afternoon).

Consignment Fee: $200

Commission: 10%

No “No Sale” Fee

ALL HORSES are expected to be in attendance once consigned. There is a $200 penalty for pulling a consigned horse without a valid veterinary statement. Once consigned, a horse MAY NOT be sold prior to the sale.

 

Negative Coggins dated within 12 months is required.

Quality Photos & Videos are STRONGLY recommended!  Taking the time to get good photos & videos will only help you! Not only will they be used in our advertising, your video will play on the big screen throughout the day Friday and while your horse is in the ring selling!  This will only help you!!!

 

All consigned horses are assumed to be sound unless otherwise announced. Any known lameness, cribbing, weaving, unsoundness of wind or eyes MUST be announced. While we do not require our consignors to provide x-rays and a pre-purchase examination, we strongly recommend that you consider having these items available. We will happily provide repository links on your horse’s online listing if you have x-rays and wish to send them in!

1. All purchases are to be paid in full on day of sale & prior to removal from premises.
2. If a dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneer will decide the dispute or resell the item.
3. All items are sold "as is where is" The auctioneer assumes no liability for any guarantee made by the seller. 
4. The auctioneer is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss incurred in connection with the sale.
5. Purchaser assumes responsibility for items when "sold" or upon delivery to purchaser.
6. Statements made on day of auction take precedence over previously written material.
7. Transportation is the responsibility of the Buyer. 
8. There is a 4% Buyers Premium added to all winning internet bids.

INTERNET BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE! When you register to bid, Horse Auctions USA will place a $500 preauthorization on the credit or debit card that you register with. This is NOT a charge, just a preauthorization. Your mobile banking may send a notification that appears as a charge - AGAIN, it is just a preauthorization. The $500 will show as "pending" and then never complete but rather, will just vanish as if it was never there.  Once the sale is complete, this preauthorization is released for all non-winning bidders. Winning bidders will have the preauthorization lifted once final settlement is made with the auction company. If for any reason you as a winning bidder fail to make final payment to the auction company before the open of business on Monday, you understand that Horse Auctions USA will finalize the $500 preauthorization and remit it to the auction company to be applied to your bill. Further, you understand that Horse Auctions USA will charge your registered card for the full amount due to the auction company for your winning bids. BID RESPONSIBLY and remember, your bid is a legally binding contract! You are responsible for your winning bids.
