The catalog horse sale and open horse sale will have a live webcast with online bidding.
Online Bidders! Go ahead and get yourself registered to bid BEFORE the Catalog Horse Sale starts so that we can assist you should you run into any issues! Once the sale starts, we are on the auction block and it is very hard to run the internet and help you on the phone at the same time!
TWO WAYS TO BID ONLINE!
You can bid online either using the Horse Auctions USA app or with your browser. If you are using a smartphone or tablet, we recommend the app for the best online bidding experience! The Horse Auctions USA app is available to download FREE from both the Google Play and App Store. If you prefer to use your browser to bid, we recommend using Google Chrome.
Starting at 2pm with the Catalog Horses, we will have a LIVE WEBCAST with real time interactive bidding. Just make sure you've registered to bid, that you're logged in, then click "Play" to view & participate live!
ABSENTEE/EARLY BIDDING is available to you prior to the live sale! This works much like ebay for those of you familiar with that. You'll place your maximum bid ahead of time and let the computer do the work for you. This option is great for those who will be in poor cell/internet service on sale day which can make it difficult to participate in the sale live. Some people find the fast pace of a live auction a bit overwhelming and this absentee option is often a great option so you don't feel quite so pressured! The computer will act as your proxy, bidding by the minimum increment allowed to keep you in the lead. It is hands free for you!
***Please note that if you place an absentee bid on a horse and an announcement is made when that horse comes into the ring that changes the information you had available when you bid (i.e. they announce a horse to crib but that wasn't listed beforehand) we will NOT honor your absentee bid for your protection. We want you to bid with confidence, not receive an unwelcome surprise!
Terms & Conditions
TERMS & CONDITIONS: Terms of the sale are cash or personal check (US Funds)-Driver’s license required. Personal checks will be considered as cash. Checks issued with insufficient funds will be prosecuted. Every animal sells to the highest bidder with auctioneer settling any disputes as to bids. Announced changes in catalog information on sale day take precedence over printed material in this catalog. All horses are buyer’s property as soon as sold. No delivery is available until settlement is made on all purchases. Online Bidders will need to register with a valid credit/debit card to participate but, Gordon Livestock does not accept credit/debit cards. Winning online bidders will need to make final payment by cash, check, or wire transfer. No horses may be removed from premises until final payment is received so if you need to pay by wire transfer, you'll need to wire Monday morning and pick up after the wire is received.
ONLINE BIDDING SECURITY DEPOSIT: Online bidders must enter a valid credit/debit card at time of bidder registration for bidding approval. A $500 good faith pre-authorization will be placed on this card. This authorization will be lifted once final payment is made to Gordon Livestock for any winning bids.
WARRANTY: The buyer assumes full ownership of the animal(s) from the time it sold in the sale ring and is responsible for proper feed and care. Winning online bidders - staff at Gordon Livestock will put your horse on feed/water.
LIABILITY: Buyers, sellers, and spectators are cautioned to exercise care while attending the sale and enter premises at their own risk. Gordon Livestock Market, the Committee: its principals, officers, agents, employees and volunteers, and each an every landowner, municipal and/or government agency upon whose property this activity is conducted shall not be liable for injuries sustained by anyone attending the Horse Sale.
HEALTH: Health of the animal is excellent. Individual health papers with a Coggins Test will be issued for shipment anywhere.
REGISTRATION & TRANSFER: We will not collect a transfer fee at the time of the sale. This will be the buyer’s responsibility after the sale is final.
ONLINE BUYER'S PREMIUM: All winning online bids will be charged a 4% Buyers Premium on the final hammer price.
