Alternatively, you can use your computer browser (we recommend Google Chrome) at bid.horseauctionsusa.com

TWO WAYS TO BID
Early Absentee Bidding: This works much like ebay for those of you familiar with that platform. It is available to you as soon as a horse is listed here on the site! With this method, you can place your maximum bid. The computer will then start you at the lowest possible amount ($1000 is the default starting bid) and will act as your agent when others absentee bid and when the sale goes live on sale day. The computer will raise your bid by the minimum increment available as needed to keep you winning. This method works well for people with poor internet connectivity, for those who have to work or otherwise can't watch live on sale day, and for folks who find the fast pace of a live auction to be intimidating. Please note that if you place an absentee bid and that horse has an announcment made during the sale that changes the information that was originally posted (i.e. - a horse is called to be a cribber and that wasn't in the original listing) we will NOT honor your absentee bid. This is for your protection as a buyer. We want you to bid with the most accurate information possible.
Live Bidding on Sale Day: For those who prefer to participate in real time, we will have a live webcast..... Make sure you have registered to bid and that you are logged in. On sale day, there will be a "Play" button available - push that and join us live! You will have real time feed with bid buttons available so you can participate as if you were with us in person.
PLEASE NOTE! We do this sale at the campground. It is a BEAUTIFUL setting for our event but we do struggle with internet connectivity. We do our best to bring you the clearest video feed possible but please understand that we are limited by location. This is something we have tried to address several ways and continue to work on but unless strong internet magically makes it's way through the forest, we have to make do the best we can! :) There is ALWAYS the very real possibility that no matter what solutions we put in place, we just may not have enough bandwidth to push live video feed! While we certainly hope that isn't the case, we do want to prepare for that possibility. IF that happens, we will be able to run the live bidding itself so you can still bid in real time - you just won't have the live video feed. Not ideal but most of the horses have enough photo/video material posted ahead to give folks a good look ahead of time.
Hopefully, it doesn't come to that but we would rather prepare everyone for the possibility "just in case"

INTERNET BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE! When you register to bid, Horse Auctions USA will place a $500 preauthorization on the credit or debit card that you register with. This is NOT a charge, just a preauthorization. Your mobile banking may send a notification that appears as a charge - AGAIN, it is just a preauthorization. The $500 will show as "pending" and then never complete but rather, will just vanish as if it was never there. Once the sale is complete, this preauthorization is released for all non-winning bidders. Winning bidders will have the preauthorization lifted once final settlement is made with the auction company. If for any reason you as a winning bidder fail to make final payment to the auction company before the open of business on Monday, you understand that Horse Auctions USA will finalize the $500 preauthorization and remit it to the auction company to be applied to your bill. Further, you understand that Horse Auctions USA will charge your registered card for the full amount due to the auction company for your winning bids. BID RESPONSIBLY and remember, your bid is a legally binding contract! You are responsible for your winning bids.
