To register for/participate in online bidding, download the Horse Auctions USA app available for iPhone & Android. We do recommend the app if using your phone/tablet/mobile device! Most of our users who have the app find it extremely easy to use and it is formatted perfectly for mobile devices.  Alternatively, you can use your computer browser (we recommend Google Chrome) at bid.horseauctionsusa.com   All internet bidding related questions should be directed to Bridget at (335) 904-8903 or Kimra at (276) 340-9370 TWO WAYS TO BID Early Absentee Bidding: This works much like ebay for those of you familiar with that platform. It is available to you as soon as a horse is listed here on the site! With this method, you can place your maximum bid. The computer will then start you at the lowest possible amount ($1000 is the default starting bid) and will act as your agent when others absentee bid and when the sale goes live on sale day. The computer will raise your bid by the minimum increment available as needed to keep you winning.  This method works well for people with poor internet connectivity, for those who have to work or otherwise can't watch live on sale day, and for folks who find the fast pace of a live auction to be intimidating. Please note that if you place an absentee bid and that horse has an announcement made during the sale that changes the information that was originally posted (i.e. - a horse is called to be a cribber and that wasn't in the original listing) we will NOT honor your absentee bid. This is for your protection as a buyer. We want you to bid with the most accurate information possible.  Live Bidding on Sale Day: For those who prefer to participate in real time, we will have a live webcast..... Make sure you have registered to bid and that you are logged in. On sale day, there will be a "View Live" button available - push that and join us live! You will have real time feed with bid buttons available so you can participate as if you were with us in person.    I won, now what?!?! A member of the KS Select Office team will be in touch with winning bidders as soon as possible. It may be once the sale is over (this depends entirely on just how busy that sale office gets). But someone will be reaching out! You'll make payment for your winning bids directly to the KS Select office. If you need to reach someone before this you can try the following but PLEASE remember that just because you are done bidding doesn't mean the auction is over. Everyone on site has their hands full until the last horse sells so thank you in advance for your patience!  You can call/text Kris Smith at (814) 229-3290 - he's managing the sale so he'll be bustling around but you can certainly reach out.  Ideally all horses should be picked up by NOON on SUNDAY. We realize that arranging transport doesn't always make that possible so if you need to arrange layover board until transport can pick up, please reach out to Kris (814) 229-3290 and he'll get you all situated.
